Welcome to my blog! I'm Alex, a high school student in Maryland. I fell in love with books the minute I learned to read, and since then, I've been an avid reader with a passion for promoting literacy.

This blog isn't just a place to share my literary ramblings— it's also dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of prison education and the impact books can have on the life of an incarcerated person. 

Aside from reading, I love tea, coffee, dogs, plants, and, of course, penguins! When I'm not curled up with a book, I'm probably at cross-country practice or playing with my golden retriever.
